About the Group
The Modelling & Scientific Computing group was formally established in the
DCU School of Computing in 2001, and is mostly concerned with
computational models/methods, and scientific applications of computing.
There are 9 staff members and 12 research postgraduates associated
with the group, conducting research in the areas listed above,
amongst others.
The group produced the first Phd thesis in the School of Computing, and
approximately 5 more Phd theses and 18 Masters theses have been awarded since.
