This year, Compute TY is sponsored by Lero. Dell have kindly donated a laptop which will be given
as a prize for the best website designed on the course by a single student. Microsoft have also donated
prizes, such as games including Halo 3, which will be presented weekly to a student or students from
each school with the best website.
This year, Compute TY will have over 750 students attending the course
which runs every week from 7th January - 1st February 2008 in the School of Computing on the DCU campus
in Glasnevin. At the close of each week students get a chance to present their web sites at a special concluding
ceremony. At the end of the ceremony each student receives a certificate of completion..
