School of Computing Email
- With a School of Computing account you also receive an email address. Your email address will be of the format of username@computing.dcu.ie so for Joe Blogs, his School of Computing email address will be: jblogs1@computing.dcu.ie
- Almost all of your School of Computing lecturers will use this email address to communicate with you about assignments, lab exams, etc. so you need to check it!
- The easiest way to check your Computing email is through WebMail. This is a web-based client similar to DCU's web email. Just pop in your Computing username and password to log in.
- You can also forward your Computing email to another email address or vice versa using forwarding. When you log into WebMail, there is a 'Mail Forwording' option under 'Options'. Just enter the email address there that you would like the mails to be forwarded to.
- You can set up a local client to read your email from our mail server. Instructions on that will follow.
