Printing
- Every Computing student has a printing account. This printing account is separate to your DCU printing and is only for the laser printers in the School of Computing.
- To deposit money into your printing account, there is a paystation kiosk in the Foyer of the School of Computing. Just enter your username and password and then you can deposit money into your account. Minimum desposit is €2.
- When you log into windows, a print account status window will pop up. See below. This window shows you your account balance, print job history and account history. This status screen can also be viewed from a browser when logged into Linux. URL to follow..
- The default printer is set to the lab that you log into. You can select other lab printers if the default printer is not working.
- Each year you get 20 sheets free. After that it's 8 cents a sheet.
- Note: Account balances are not brought forward into your following year - so use up your balance before the end of semester 2!
