UNIX Access & Space
- The student project server student.computing.dcu.ie is now accessible from the main DCU network, DCU res and from outside DCU.
- This facilitates access to UNIX home directories, the MySql database, web folders, etc. from any of those areas. Access from these areas is _only_ available through a Secure SHell (SSH) client. For instructions on how to connect to your UNIX home directory on the student project server, please see the support pages on SSH.
- Windows users may also find WinSCP useful.
- Extra UNIX space is available for 3rd&4th project students. If you require extra UNIX space for your project, please send a request to
