Joint-Dual Degree Programme between BJUT and DCU
DCU School of Computing has an agreement with the School of Software Engineering at Beijing University of Technology in Beijing (P.R. China) for a Joint-Dual Master Degree Programme in Software Engineering and Business Informatics
Uniquely in international education, this programme aims at providing a true international (and trans-continental) experience for all participating students. This includes an internationally relevant curriculum in Software Engineering and Business Informatics, advanced language training, courses for outsiders, and university experience in two countries, China and Ireland – one in Asia and the other in Europe.
In this context, and based on a strong foundation, the Master level qualification will result in graduates that are prepared for a world where the application of information technology and software solutions are developed and applied for effective information systems to solve the business needs of globalising enterprises and organisations.

The Accreditation for the European MSc in Business Informatics was approved by Academic Council at its meeting on 27th June 2005. As such, the Degree will enjoy full recognition throughout the whole European Union (based on the "Bologna Agreement" between Bologna partners (EU+other countries)).
