IBIC Conference:

Thursday, 25th September 2008, Dublin City University, Ireland

We are organising a one day international conference for participants of the Business Informatics Challenge and Conference. The conference will be held on Thursday, 25th of September 2008 at Dublin City University, Ireland. Authors of accepted papers can present and discuss their work with other participants, researchers, faculty members and postgraduate research students of Dublin City University. The talks take place in a friendly, helpful and constructive atmosphere.
Each attendee, who presented a paper will receive a certificate!

The participation of the conference is free of charge for participating students and supervisors, students of the European MSc in Business Informatics, members of Partner Universities and members of the Programme Committee. Travel and accommodation must be paid by the participants or other sponsoring organisation.

Virtual participation:
Conference participation is encouraged and recommended; however it is not required to attend the Conference in Dublin in order to submit a paper to and participate in the Business Informatics Challenge (All accepted papers (full and short) are published in the proceedings regardless the form of participation). Those who are unable to attend the workshop in person but wish to participate in this international competition, virtual participation is available. Virtual participation allows participants to submit papers for refereeing and publication in the proceedings.

Unfortunately, this year we do not offer a video conference facility for virtual participation. If you wish to participate virtually, you may send us your presentation in PowerPoint and we will distribute it to the attendees for comments and discussions on the workshop day. Please send the presentation file directly to Markus Helfert
Deadline for receiving the presentation file is 15th of September 2008.
