Conference and Workshop Venue

The Conference and Workshop will be held on Thursday, 25th of September 2008 at Dublin City University. Dublin City University is situated midway between Dublin airport (approx 7km) and Dublin city centre. The campus is bordered on two sides by Ballymun Road and Collins Avenue. The university is within easy access of a number of major bus routes from the City Centre and Dublin Airport, so travelling should be easy if you follow the directions provided at www.dcu.ie:

Accommodation

There are a number of Hotels, Guest Houses and Bed & Breakfast places close to Dublin City University. Please note that rooms can be difficult to find in Dublin during September, so we advise that you book your room well in advance.

We suggest The Regency Airport Hotel.
  • Participants must contact the hotel directly to book the room
The Regency Hotel is located close to Dublin City University, and 3km north of Dublin City centre on the main route to Dublin’s International Airport (7km). Please click on the Hotel link above for more details and directions.

Directions to the Regency Airport Hotel
  • Taxi: around 20 Euro from airport.
  • Alirlink buses number 747 and 748 from airport to Dublin city centre, and leaves every 15 minutes. Single far is about 6 Euros. Alternatively there are a number of main bus routes to Dublin City Centre stopping at The Regency Airport Hotel. Regular local Bus services from City Centre to Hotel.
