  • New Scientist Article: (10th August '02)
    "World Wide Mind Project gets featured in New Scientist, 10 August 2002 issue.

  • Enterprise Ireland Presentations: (22 July, 02)
    The following PPT presentations made by research groups during the visit of the Enterprise Ireland Development Advisors in May 2002 are now available on our main Research page.

  • IRCSET Funding Successes: (3rd July '02)
    One CA student and two ACL students have been successful in obtaining IRCSET funded postgraduate scholarships. The three are: Georgina Gaughan (CA), John Judge (ACL) and Katrina Keogh (ACL). Congratulations to all three.

  • Enterprise Ireland Funding: (24th June '02)
    Professor Alan Smeaton has been awarded funding under the Enterprise Ireland Advanced Research Programme, 2002. Project Title: Linked Objects & Events for User-driven Video Retrieval. Congratulations Alan!
