Orientated Virtual Course Delivery" has been awraded to Dr.
Claus Pahl.
Abstract:
The main objective is to provide a learning-oriented integrated
virtual course system. Lectures, tutorials and lab sessions
shall be integrated into one coherent Web-based system.
The starting point is an existing virtual lecture system
- the CA309 Database course. The integration of tutorial and
lab material adds an interactive dynamic dimension. The integration
of various services using only Internet technologies requires
a homogeneous representation and systematic interrelation of
the various course elements. A flexible infrastructure for an
integrated virtual course shall be established, allowing the
storage, retrieval and navigation through the course material
in various ways.
