Centre for Digital Video Processing - £410,000 Funding

The Centre for Digital Video Processing has just received funding from Enterprise Ireland to allow 3 more years work on indexing, browsing, searching, alerting, filtering and summarising digital video material. The funding will allow the development of leading-edge techniques for content-based access to digital video and will also allow mobile access to such systems.  Funding comes from the recently-announced Informatics Programme (total amount £410,000) and has a small involvement from the Department of Computer Science at UCD.  Further details on the work can be found at the Físchlár website
