Mark Roantree

Dr. Mark Roantree is a Senior Lecturer with 25 years experience in both an academic and industrial capacity. For 10 years, he worked in the IT industry for Fujitsu and Symantec (both in Dublin), Royal Life (Melbourne) and Taxsoft (London) in various roles as software developer, software architect and project management.

Having worked at Dublin City University since 1994, Mark is currently a Senior Lecturer and has published in almost 70 refereed journals and conferences. He is currently leader of the Interoperable Systems Group and has reviewed papers for numerous journals and international conferences including the International Journal of Cooperative Information Systems, Data and Knowledge Engineering (DKE), Transactions on Information Systems (TOIS), International Journal on Digital Libraries, Information Processing Letters, SIGMOD Record, software Practice and Experience and the International Conferences on Extending Database Technologies (EDBT), and the largest Semantic Web Conference (ISWC), among many others.
