Mr. Stone's current areas of interest include the development of the Object Oriented paradigm through component technologies, modelling notations including extensions of the UML, Design Patterns and Software architectures. He is interested in Distributed Systems, formal specification and verification for DS including applications of the Pi calculus. Mr. Stone is also interested in the development of WAP and broadband applications for mobile computing and in formal aspects of communications protocols.
