Research Profile

Nora Brophy researches the factors that can improve teaching and learning in Higher Education, with particular reference to the teaching of computer programming. While working with students having difficulty with their initial introduction to computer programming, Ms. Brophy has identified factors in their approach to the subject that lead to this difficulty. She is interested in using the findings from educational research to develop methods and techniques to overcome this problem, including the development of interactive material.
