<< October 2 to October 3, 2008 >> Attended the 13th Annual Internationalisation and Localisation Conference (LRC XIII) held at Marino Institute of Education, Dublin.
<< September 10 to September 11, 2008 >> Attended the 2-day CNGL (Centre for Next Generation Localisation) Integration workshop held at TCD (Trinity College Dublin).
<< August 4, 2008 onwards >> Playing with MaTrEx, specifically with aligned word and phrase pairs in the translation model.

<< July 28 to July 31, 2008 >> Attended 4-day training program organized by the Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC). Courses included high performance computing, message passing interface, and OpenMP. 

<< July 28, 2008 >> I became a card-carrying (symbolically) member of EAMT, European Association for Machine Translation.
<< July 24, 2008 >> Presented my master's project entitled "Learning a translation lexicon from non parallel corpora" at the NCLT / CNGL Workshop.
<< July 1, 2008 >> Officially started my PhD research studies at Dublin City University. I am located in one of the L208 bays in the School of Computing.
