Getting There
Skövde is conveniently situated on the main train line.
This means that it is only one hour from Gothenburg and
two hours from Stockholm by train.
If you fly to Copenhagen, you can either take a flight from Copenhagen to Göteborg, then a bus to the Göteborg Central Station (25-30 minutes) and finally a train to Skövde from there; another option is to take a train from the Copenhagen airport to Göteborg and change to the Skövde train in Göteborg. There are a lot of trains between Göteborg and Skövde. You can check the train timetable. You will find Copenhagen Airport under "K" : "Köbenhavns lufthavn/Kastrup".
From Stockholm Airport, you take the train called Arlanda Express to the Central Station, and a train called X2000 directly to Skövde. The timetable is available through the link above.
All the hotels in Skövde are within walking distance from the railway station, and so is the University of Skövde. We have made a map of Skövde available, as well as a map of the campus.
