If you want to learn any of the Celtic languages, there are two
lists set up.
GAELIC-L for Irish, Scots Gaelic and Manx (currently about 700 members)
and WELSH-L for Welsh, Cornish and Breton (currently about 330 members)
Note that these are primarily lists for discussions *in* those languages
and not discussions in English *about* the languages, although short
English only messages from learners are OK. To join, send a message

Dalraida Celtic Heritage
Society , based in Arran, have amassed a great storehouse of
Gaelic and Celtic information and documents. They also have a
celtic quarterly newsletter and subscription and membership information
may be found here. The Society is dedicated to preserving
and restoring the Celtic culture.
North American Assoc. for Celtic Language Teachers now has a home page and from here you can also come across some
other interesting celtic and gaelic stuff which seems to be

The Chicago Gaelic Athletic Association playing season came
to an end on a high note with the visit of the Allied Irish Banks
hurling and football teams on Oct. 9
Despite the fact that there is little interest in hurling and
football activity beyond the traditional Labor Day weekend
American League playoffs, more than 500 spectators gathered at
Chicago's Gaelic Park to see Chicago selected squads battle with
AIB teams that included several inter-county players.
Such names as Nicky English and Michael Deignam in hurling
and Stephen Stack in football, contributed to a most attractive
feature. Following triumphs in New York and Toronto, these two
AIB teams were intent in sustaining an unbeaten
