The IOI in Sweden

The Irish Delegation headed to the International Olympiad in Informatics in Sweden in July. We had great fun, and even won a bronze medal (well Brian Jones did). The Swedish hospitality, weather and organization were brilliant and as Sean Kinsella remarked ’However good the National competition was this is way better’. Hugh Larkin appeared on Swedish Television and was extensively quoted in the newspapers (they obviously didn’t understand him).
