Practicum Presentation

Here you will find important details about the practicum presentation. You should read this carefully to ensure that your presentation passes off as smoothly as possible for both the examiners and yourself.

Your presentation

  • The timetable will show the start time of your presentation.
  • You should aim to arrive in the room a few minutes early in order to connect your laptop with the projector etc.
  • Your presentation should last 30 minutes maximum. The next 30 minutes is for questions. (1.5 hours are timetabled in order to give examiners time to prepare for any following presentation.)
  • You should rehearse your presentation beforehand if
possible. N209 is usually vacant, connect your laptop and give your presentation to a classmate or two.
  • Check the timetable again and make sure you know when you're on. Also make sure you know the location of the room.
  • L241 is in the postgrad area to which you do not have access. Allow extra time to ring a staff member from the phone outside to let you in.
