Schedule of Important Dates for Project

1 24/9/07  Start of semester
2 1/10/07  Project submission open 
Project meeting Wednesday 3rd October at 10am in room C114. All students must attend.
3 10/10/07  Presentation by IBM on Open Source Competition Wednesday 10th October at 10am in room HG17. Powerpoint Presentation Extreme Blue Internship Powerpoint Presentation
2 to 4 1/10/07 - 19/10/07 Projects may be submitted any time during this period.
The Proposal Status page will be updated on a regular basis to reflect approved projects.
4 19/10/07 Project submission closed 
Completed and signed project proposal form due by 5pm Friday 19/10/07
5 24/10/07 Project and supervisor assigned to those without approved project proposal.
These will appear in the Proposal Status page no later than 5pm Wednesday 24/10/07
6 31/10/07 Students who failed to meet the project proposal submission deadline and were assigned a supervisor / project (by coordinator) must have made contact with assigned supervisor and agree a work plan before 5pm Wednesday 31/10/07. A signed contact form must be submitted to project coordinator no later than 5pm Wednesday 31/10/07. Students who fail to make appropriate contact with their supervisor will be deemed to have failed CA400
10 30/11/07 Functional Specification submitted to project co-ordinator and supervisor no later than 9am Friday 30/11/07
 22  18/2/08 Way point 1: Project blog and associated links must be up-to-date by 9am Monday 18/2/08
 26  31/3/08 Way point 2: Project blog and associated links must be up-to-date by 9am Monday 31/3/08
31 2/5/08 Project system and documentation (User Manual and Technical Specification) submitted to supervisor no later than 12 noon Friday 2/5/08
35 23/5/08, 27/5/08 - 30/5/08 Project demonstrations 9am to 6pm
