  • No Protocol verification

• Ch.4 - More Data Link Layer
  • No Wireless or Bluetooth (3rd year)
  • No Multiple-LAN Switching

• Ch.5 - Network Layer
  • No Routing algorithms (3rd year)
  • Almost no Congestion control
  • Almost no Quality of service
  • No Internetworking
  • On IP, mainly just addressing (more in 3rd year)

• Ch.6 - Transport Layer
  • No Elements of Transport Protocols
  • No Simple Transport Protocol
  • Almost no UDP
  • No Performance Issues
