This is so you can follow the explanations in class and make further notes as you wish. The notes are organised into chapters. The course schedule will be available on the course web page and will indicate which chapters in the notes will be covered each week. You must bring the lecture notes with you to the lecture. You should work through these again after the lecture, and note any points that you would need to clarify at your tutorial. The notes will also be an important reference when working on your weekly tutorial/lab exercises. Supplementary resources are available from the course web page when required.
