About Me
I'm a post graduate researcher (doing my Ph.D.), working in a highly research inclined laboratory called Center for Scientific Computing and Systems Modelling - SCI SYM , under Prof. Heather J Ruskin, at the Dublin City University (DCU), Dublin, Ireland.
I did my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)- Bioinformatics, at SRM University (SRMU), in Chennai, India, where I grew up too. My research focus is in the field of Computational Biology especially in Cancer Genetics, studying Complex Biosystems and recently, Parallel Computing. I'm currently working on investigating epigenetic changes associated with Cancer initiation through Computational methods. More specifically, I'm trying to model the human epigenetic layer through powerful stochastic methods amongst others. To read about my work please click here or read my publications. Apart from research work, my interests are countable ranging from listenning to feet-tapping music, practicing Archery, playing badminton, basketball and going for a swim when time permits. My "off-field" reading include non-fictious material from genography, anthropology and holy hindu scripts.
