Lynn Killen graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics and Statistics. Under the sponsorship of a Research Scholarship awarded by the Agricultural Institute (now Teagasc) she completed an M.Sc. in the University of Hull and a Ph.D. in Trinity College. After graduating, she worked in the Irish Dairy Board, the National Board for Science and Technology, Teagasc and the Industrial Development Authority. She was a lecturer in quantitative methods in the School of Computing at Dublin City University from 1990 to 2010. |
