Lab 0 notes
You will work in the labs in pairs. You are expected to submit an
individual lab report each week via Moodle.
Your pair assignment is available on Moodle.
Group Assignment (15%)
Choose ONE of the topics (to be given later) and write a group report
of around 2000 words. Each student will contribute to the group report
and also write an individual piece (~500 words).
You are expected to do some background reading for
this assignment. Your report should be well-structured and be logically
coherent.
The due date for the group abstract is 4/11/11.
The due date for the assignment is 18/11/11. The assignment is to be submitted
via Moodle.
Your group assignment will be posted on
Moodle. You should write the names of
all the group members who participated in writing the report.
Please follow these Writing Guidelines.
Notes
- Your report should be coherent - you should discuss the report as a group -
it should NOT be a collection of individual texts.
- Pay attention to the writing style. Take care with punctuation,
spelling, syntax, the content of your report, the register and the format.
- Please use the same font throughout the text (expect if using
italics or bold in special cases).
