Key Language
kan tinemi?Where do you live?
"kan" is "where". "nemi" means "to be" or "to live". "ti" is the "you" part. Thus, "tinemi" means "you live".

ninemiI am/I live
"ni" is the "me" part. It gets added at the front of verbs to show that I'm doing the action. "ninemi" means "I am" or "I live". You can use "naha" at the start if you like, but it's not necessary. (Using "naha" means that you are emphasising the my part).

tikin
"tik" means "in". We will be looking at "tik" later on in this course.

kan nemi ne muiknew Where does your family live?
Nothing is added to the verb in the 3rd person singular. "iknew" is family.
