"tesu" makes things negative, it's like "not"

neckukuya nuzuntekunI have a headache
"nec" means "to me" (it is used with reflexive verbs). "kukuya" means "pain".

"zuntekun" is head, so "nuzuntekun" is my head.

kuni tinemi tesu yekSo you are not well
"kuni" means "therefor"

nusan neckukuya nuihtiI also have a pain in my stomach
"ihti" is stomach, so "nuihti" is "my stomach"

"ken" means "how".

"tumawak", "xulet" y "capacin" mean "fat", "old" y "short" respectively.

nuikaw picawak, kohtik wan kalancin (ken naha)My sister is slim, tall and good looking (like me)
"picawak", "kohtik" and "kalancin" mean "slim", "tall" and "good looking" respectively.

Note how easy it is to make a question ... simply raise the intonation at the end of the sentance.

"kia" means "yes"

tumawak muikaw?Is your sister fat?


tesu tumawak. Yaha picawak.She's not fat. She's slim.
"tesu" implies negative, in this case not.
