Overview
I am a PostDoctoral researcher working in the CLARITY research centre in Dublin City University (DCU), which focuses on the intersection between the research areas of Adaptive Sensing and Information Discovery.
Research Area
My research is focussed broadly in the area of information management and retrieval. The main work of my PhD concentrated on the optimisation of large-scale search engines: specifically looking at measure of document quality, in order to increase efficiency as well as effectiveness.
Following this I have worked on a number of industry collaboration projects in the areas of Interactive TV, Sentiment Analysis, as well as vehicle tracking and monitoring.
