PDF Slideshow Template

Here is an alternative to using powerpoint for high class presentations. I use prosper a "LaTeX class for writing transparencies" in combination with LaTeX to produce consistent, sharp presentations that will run on any operating system that supports a PDF reader.

Before using the template you must install LaTeX and prosper and of course set up the environment properly as per their instructions. Actually Freshmeat have a good tutorial to get you started.
Note: prosper-1.00.4.tar.gz has some images (bullet points) which seem to be in the wrong directory so you may have to move these into the root directory of your chosen style before prosper will run correctly. The LaTeX processor will tell you if this is the case.
Also be sure not to download the prosper contributed styles instead of proser itself from sourceforge (unless you want the styles in addition to prosper)!

A0/A1/A2/A3/A4 Poster Template

This is a great template for creating great looking posters with LaTeX. I use Andreas Jung's a "Creating posters in A0-size with LaTex - a short introduction" (as a basis) in combination with LaTeX to produce a "snappy" looking poster that will print off any operating system that supports a PDF reader.

Before using the template you must install LaTeX and as usual set up the environment properly as per their instructions.
