Events

The group made the first internal research meeting on Dec 07, 2009. The aim of the meeting is to introduce our research areas and to exchange useful information that can be shared among the group members. The first two presentations were made by Yalemisew and Aakash.

The following presentation will be held in January, 2010 by Javed. The presentation and discussion will continue Every month by updating the group's research areas and state of the art research aspects

Yalemisew Mintesnote Abgaz

I am a PhD research student in School of Computing at Dublin City University. I am studying in the Center for Next Generation Localization (CNGL) project with the Digital content Management (DCM) group. My Supervisor is Dr. Claus Pahl

I did my first degree at Addis Ababa University [AAU], Department of Library and Information Science from 1999 to 2002. Then I did my second degree (MSc) in Faculty of Informatics, Department of Information Science from 2004 to 2005.

I have been working in different organizations as a Graduate assistant (2003) and as a lecturer in Addis Ababa University [AAU] Faculty of Informatics (FOI) Department of Information Science [DIS].

I worked as a national coordinator for Health Information System Project(HISP-Ethiopia) and Building Europe Africa collaborative Network for applying IST in Health care sector(BEANISH-Ethiopia)

Currently I am a second year student, and I am working on Ontology evolution.
