Entry Requirements

There are two distinct intakes into the degree programme reflecting the two different streams of the graduates produced:

Technical Stream: Minimum Second Class Honours degree in Computer Science, Computing, Computer Applications or a related discipline. Candidates with significant experience in the electronic commerce/software development sectors, in addition to a primary degree in some other discipline, may also apply for entry.

Business Stream: A minimum second class honours degree in Business, Computing or a related discipline.In exceptional circumstances, candidates with a Lower Second Class Honours degree may be admitted. Candidates with significant business experience, on top of a primary degree in some other discipline, may also apply for entry.


Fees & Funding Support

This programme will be supported by the HEA under the Information Technology Investment Fund resulting in a reduced fee for European Union Students but this decision is subject to review each year. Up-to-date fee information on fees for EU and non-EU students is available on the university's Finance Office webpages.

All EU and Non-EU applicants wish to apply our next intake in September should apply online through the Postgraduate Applications Centre using the PAC code DC506 for the Business concentration and DC821 for the Technical concentration..

Applicants who require a study visa for the purposes of gaining entry into Ireland are advised to apply as early as possible.
