Ericsson Ireland

Ericsson employs around 1400 people in Ireland and comprises two main operational units:

  • Services based in Clonskeagh, Dublin
  • Research & Software Development in Athlone

Ericsson Ireland Graduate Programme - Dublin

Positions on our Graduate Scheme are at entry level and so is a perfect way to launch your career, in a challenging yet supportive environment.

Our graduates spend the first two weeks in intensive telecommunications training, and will then continue with a mix of shadowing more experienced team members and further role-specific training. After a few months our graduates begin working on their first project or assignment.

What roles are available?

Typical graduate roles within Ericsson involve integration and verification of Ericsson products within our customers' systems; troubleshooting and finding creative solutions to complex problems.

You might be dealing directly with our high profile customers; delivering training or presenting a new business opportunity.

Whichever role you are assigned to, you will be working within a highly talented, international team who are striving to achieve outstanding results.


  • Minimum 2.1 Honors Degree in Engineering (Computer, Electronic, Telecommunications or equivalent.)
  • Cisco Certification/ IP Certification
  • Programming
  • Knowledge of UNIX
  • 6-12 months relevant experience
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Desirable:Experience traveling abroad

  • Experience in Telecommunications
  • Experience in teaching/training
  • Foreign language, preferably French or Spanish

We are looking for strong candidates who can innovate, perform to their highest abilities, put the customer first, be attentive to detail and who will empower those around them.

These roles will require 70-80% international travel for a duration of 3-9 months.
