The Business Informatics Group at Dublin City University offers postgraduate research opportunities (PhD candidate) co-funded by Enterprise Partners in the area of

-Enterprise Architecture and Application Portfolio Management
-Usage of Mobile Devices within an organisational environment
-Modelling Maturity Models (IT-Capability Maturity Framework)

Candidates need to have a degree in information systems, business informatics, computing or a related area. Analytical skills, research skills, self-motivation as well as a 2.1 or 1st Class Honours Degree (or equivalent) is required. For English and DCU Entry Requirements please refer to DCU registry at

The research will require that the student is working in conjunction with enterprises and research partners, thus excellent communication skills are essential. The research projects will be part of the Business Informatics Group ( and in conjunction with the Innovation Value Institute ( and the Enterprise Partner.
