From 1st November 2020 I have been working as a Lecturer in School of Computing, National College of Ireland, Dublin, Ireland. Before that, I had been working as a Research Fellow at Dublin City University (DCU) for two years, and was part of the DCU's world-leading MT group headed by Prof Andy Way. My research interests include machine translation, information extraction and machine learning.
I obtained my PhD (computer science & engineering) in 2011 from DCU (PhD thesis). On completion of my PhD study, I entered into the language technology industry and worked on industrial MT solutions for seven years, first at Applied Language Solutions, Delph, UK, and then from 2013 at Lingo24, Edinburgh, UK. I came back to DCU in July 2018, and since then I had been working in DCU up until November 2020.
